About Us

WELCOME TO

Michigan Parkinson Foundation

Since 1983, we have been dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s disease through compassionate care, trusted resources, and meaningful community connections. Today, our work is guided by four key pillars: Community, Exercise, Education, and Respite, helping individuals, care partners, and families find support, strength, and hope throughout every stage of the Parkinson’s journey.

Our Mission

We strive to empower and support individuals impacted by Parkinson’s and related movement disorders with their care partners, families & healthcare professionals.

We ensure that everyone with Parkinson’s or a related disorder has access to responsive, compassionate, and quality care. We are committed to fostering awareness and creating a supportive community so that those with Parkinson’s disease never feel alone. We encourage people to get involved through educational programs, movement activities, and events.
